HOW TO USE:
Apply to sun damaged skin of the face, hands, and chest as tolerated, especially to brown spots on the skin. Retinol will give you the most dramatic cosmetic and medical improvement of any skin care product known to-date.
TIPS & TRICKS:
Redness or peeling is NOT a desired effect, and if seen, suggests that the retinol has been applied too frequently and that a less frequent application is needed.Should redness or peeling occur, skip days of use until the redness or peeling subsides, and then resume treatment at a less frequent rate. For example, if you were applying the product nightly, go to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Use retinol requires patience, but it pays off in healthy looking and smooth skin!
There is large amount of sun damage on the neck and around the eyes. The neck and eye area are delicate, so it is best to gradually introduce retinol to these areas, for example, on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule.
Contrary to popular myth, it is acceptable to apply Tretinol Serum 0.5% during the day if one plans on staying indoors for at least 2 hours. Tretinol is degraded by ultra-violet light, so it should not be used when going outdoors.
